The sound and video installation transforms the entrance facade of the Frankenbad Bonn into an audiovisual membrane between the swimming pool and outdoor space. Resonating glass panes and video projections connect the forecourt with the lobby. The installation is not only for swimmers, but can also be experienced by passers-by throughout the whole day. In the evening, the facade will be transformed into a multimedia aquarium.

At the end of its »Aquarium« sound and video installation, Trio Wellenbad invites to enjoy entertaining musical performances in the swimming pool. Electronic and instrumental soundscapes can be heard live above and under water as the Frankenbad is transformed into a concert hall. The event concludes with a world premiere for live electronics and instrumental ensemble.

Klang- und Videokunst für das Bonner Frankenbad: Die Eingangsfassade wird zu einer audiovisuelle Membran zwischen Schwimmbad und Außenraum. Klingende Glasscheiben und Videoprojektionen verbinden den Vorplatz mit dem Foyer. Die Installation ist nicht nur für Badegäste, sondern den ganzen Tag über für Passant:innen erlebbar. Abends verwandelt sich die Fassade in ein multimediales Aquarium.
/// Live-Konzerte im für schwimmendes Publikum
Bade- und Konzertgäste tauchen in Wasser- und Schallwellen ein. Elektronische und instrumentale Klangwelten sind live über und unter Wasser zu hören – das Frankenbad wird zum Konzertsaal. Den Höhepunkt bildet eine Uraufführung für Live-Elektronik und Ensemble.
