Wellenbad No. 5, designed for a floating – and on this occasion also jumping – audience, took place on the afternoon of 8 November 2025 in Cologne. Wellenbad performed at the Agrippabad in Cologne and composed a new piece inspired by the ‘plunge into cold water’ from the 10-metre diving platform.

Musician and composer Shannon Barnett was invited as a special guest to perform a new composition for trombone, voice and electronics. In her composition ‘Rutsche #2’ for trombone, voice and electronics, Shannon Barnett exploresthe juxtapositions between the acoustic and the electronic, the natural and the synthetic, pipes and hoses, water and air, dry and wet.
